PHP Developer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Web Developer who wants a secure full time position, where they can own their role and be an important part of the future of COG Digital and our clients businesses.

You would be responsible for ongoing development to a range of existing web and mobile applications, and would suite a skilled PHP developer who isn’t afraid of a challenge, has an eye for detail and great communication skills. You will be responsible for interacting with clients, building quality web solutions with proven design techniques, and devising long-term answers for hard-to-solve questions.

We are constantly working on a range of exciting websites and web based applications; the variety in this action packed role is second to none. Projects range from small brochure-ware sites, through to content management systems, e-commerce and corporate web based applications, and our extensive client base ranges from web start-ups, SME’s right through to large multinational corporates.

About you

Interpersonal skills are essential as we function as a team, sharing our knowledge and growth paths. To be successful you will be a developer with a passion for online technologies and will naturally love solving problems by thinking creatively, and communicating with your team to find the best solutions.

Writing clean, maintainable code, following best practices and adhering to coding standards.

Tertiary qualified would be an advantage.

Proven experience in frontend and backend web development.

PHP

CMS Products: Magento, WordPress, Shopify (Liquid), BigCommerce.

Database Design / MySQL.

HTML/CSS/Javascript.

Hosting, SSL, DNS and Email Management.

AWS Management (EC2/S3).

Ability to design and implement complex software solutions.
Laravel experience highly regarded.
Ruby experience highly regarded.
AngularJS experience highly regarded.
ReactJS experience highly regarded.
RESTful API concepts & development highly regarded.
